Locrian #2 Scale (Half Diminished)

Locrian #2 is identical with the Locrian Mode apart from the lowered second. This scale is also referred to as the Minor Locrian or Aeolian b5 Scale since it is identical with the Aeolian Mode (or Natural Minor), apart from the lowered fifth. The scale is sometimes called Half Diminished and it shares many notes with diminished chords as well as half-diminished chords.
